Tampa’s communities reflect both the rich history of our city and the modern living of today. And our showroom and design team can help you steep your home’s style in tradition or transform it with contemporary design.
If you are an interior designer working with your client to reimagine a home space, a builder seeking to outfit a model home, or a contractor wanting a collaborative partner to help your client make selections, we hope you’ll visit our showroom and Collaborative Design Center—a beautiful space open to all who seek inspired home designs.
Whatever your taste or vision, we have what you need to elevate your home’s style with ease.
All Things Kitchen and Bath is the place where you and your clients can see design ideas up close or meet for coffee and plan projects. And, if you need to send in a client, we’re happy to assist them—working together as partners in design.
Designing home and commercial spaces is more than work: It’s a passion for Melissa. A proud veteran, she also enjoys devoting time to serving causes that support military veterans or animal causes. When she puts her designs down for the day, you might find her exploring Tampa’s local sites or a new restaurant with Justin, spending time with her kids, or settling in for a Netflix night with her Saint Bernard, Sadie, and French Bulldog, Beignet.
Originally from New Orleans, Melissa loves the feel of home Ybor City gives her. Growing up, Melissa was in awe of the majestic Uptown homes and her hometown's distinctive, colorful architecture. Her father, a law enforcement officer, also inspired her love of design and construction, building Melissa’s childhood home from the ground up.
Melissa served in the US Air Force before pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with training from The New York Institute of Art & Design and opening Southern Sass Interiors & More in 2020. She is also a certified color expert in Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore paints. Melissa is elated to bring Southern Sass Interiors & More into ATKB for a complete concept to build experience.
Co-Founder & Lead Designer
Born and raised in Florida, Justin began his career in construction and remodeling after the hurricanes that swept through the state in 2004. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology but has found that giving people their dream homes was the career path paved for him.
The Tampa Bay area is very special to Justin. His grandfather was Bruce B. Downs, a leader in the planning and expansion of Tampa during the 70s and 80s. His grandparents inspired his life pursuits, and Justin enjoys continuing the tradition of honest hard work in the Tampa Bay community.
At All Things Kitchen & Bath, Justin leads construction crews and brings design renditions to life. When he’s not working, he enjoys cooking and traveling with his partner in business and life, Melissa, and hanging out with his other significant other, their Frenchie, Beignet.
Sparking conversations with clients to find their design style and playing with color to show them how color connects to mood are just a few design aspects that design assistant Samantha loves.
Samantha helps the team at ATKB with everything from researching and sourcing design materials to updating project timelines to assisting on residential and commercial projects. Samantha is passionate, inspired, and committed to providing clients with a beautiful and transformational design experience.
With a background in cosmetology, being a design assistant allows Bailey another way to demonstrate her creative expression. Putting together design boards, researching and sourcing materials, and assisting with client questions during a project are a few of her daily job roles. A determined, passionate, and ambitious creative, Bailey finds inspiration from her mother and ATKB’s principal designer, Melissa Adair. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is watching remodel and renovation visions come to life for their clients.
